Thank you to Ms. Mendy and the talented dancers for sharing their knowledge and helping our Mary Peacock students learn more about the meaning and importance of Tolowa Dee-ni’ ceremonial regalia. Students were able to see the artistry, hear the stories, and better understand how regalia connects to cultural identity and tradition. We’re grateful for this enriching experience that helps our students appreciate and respect the diverse cultures within our community.
