Mary Peacock students had a special learning opportunity during a salmon presentation in Mrs. Carter’s classroom led by Keith Parker, Senior Fisheries Biologist for the Yurok Tribe. Students learned about the life cycle of salmon, the importance of healthy river ecosystems, and the role salmon play in local culture and the environment. We are grateful to Mr. Parker for sharing his expertise and helping bring real-world science to our students in such a meaningful way.
