Recently, our first-grade students at Mary Peacock Elementary took a special walking field trip to Del Norte High School, where they had the chance to collaborate with the high school’s floral arrangement class. Together, the students created beautiful handmade flower arrangements as heartfelt gifts for their moms in celebration of Mother's Day. This meaningful activity not only allowed the younger students to explore their creativity but also fostered a wonderful connection between the two schools. A big thank you goes out to the dedicated teachers at both sites who helped make this memorable experience possible!
